She is here. arrived tonight by transport. Found a 2023 model at a Porsche dealership in northeast USA with 170 miles. Dealer swapped. Love the spec, though It doesnt have laser lights optioned, which I’m fine with.
After title drama between the dealers , it’s now in my garage…. S58 engine seems like it’ll be fun to own long term…. It’s raining but did drive around block real quick…. . I’m now part of the BMW “M” fam. Get some pics tomorrow once weather clears up. Was surprised carrier called so late, saying they would be to my house in few minutes. Made my night, now don’t wanna go bed. 🤣🤣 |

Just picked up my Brooklyn Grey M4 Xdrive comp coupe. Loving it so far but the hood is a bit plain. I’ve been considering having my PPF shop do front end PPF and then custom cut a pair of CSL-like stripes in a darker grey, but not stark black (raw CF) like the CSL. Maybe a fine red stripe on the inside edge of the two but not all around like CSL.
Has anyone done this / thoughts? I don’t want it to make my coupe look any more mustang-like, and don’t want to look like I’m a wannabe CSL owner, but I do like a little more character on this car. I did the same on my Cayman GTS and it looked super nice. Just curious if anyone else has done it? |

To me in pictures the color looks a little washed and def has blue tints. I own an x3m in BG and I agree looks better in person. Mix in a little carbon and it’s even better!

Looks lighter than it is, but BG / Sakhir buckets was pretty much the only color combo that I was aiming for. BRG was another one, but maybe Individual will be the way to go for my next one.

The only time it's leaving my ownership is to trade up for a 991 GT3 RS . Full Fabspeed exhaust so it almost sounds as good as a 991 GT3 Cup car. : ) Probably why I don't feel compelled to do mid pipes or a full Ti exhaust on my M3 as it's nice to drive a slightly quiet car sometimes.
