ArmaSpeed or Dinan Cold air intake

So I’m ready to order my cold air intake but, I’m debating between the two above. I think Armaspeed looks the best but, I’d have to wait awhile to get it. Please help me settle my internal debate. TIA

I ordered an Armaspeed Intake from Autotalent here on the forums and got it in 6 days from time of order and for way less (no $300 shipping charge) than other forum vendors. Perfect fit and finish, and I love the sound. I like the way it looks better, too.

I order with AutoTalent and asked them
To cancel becaue their bad reviews I saw on here and Google. They also refused to honor my add on for the slam panel due to a system glitch. Dang.

Only issue I found with the Arma was the tiny screws that mount to the air boxes. Have to manipulate the alignment while tightening to not strip the aluminum brackets and should've came with nylon washers as well like for the big bolts. I'd also like the factory ducts to be more secured but that complaint seems valid to oem as well.

Big fan of my Armaspeed intake. Really nice OEM+ look, and the sound is epic.

Curious if the Arma with the closed cover is a bit quieter than the Dinan with the cuts on the top. Seems Dinan might have more sweet woosh noises.

If I had to guess on the sound (whole reason you buy these IMO):

Arma w no cover > Dinan > Arma full install w cover

No noticeable difference with the cover on/off that I could hear. It’s very loud. You can clearly hear it inside with the windows up, even. No idea on the Dinan.

I’ve read that aftermarket burger Motorsport high flow filters will produce the same sounds and performance increases. For as little that I will be popping the hood not sure its with over a thousand….

Once I received my car in hopefully in March, I will be able to compare the BMC drop in filters and the Armaspeed intake. I have them both sitting in my garage waiting.

I had the BMC filters in the car for a year before getting the Armaspeed intakes. They made no difference in sound or that I could feel driving the car.

The Armaspeed intakes add a lot of turbo noises to the car that really add to my enjoyment of the car, and it does feel a little more responsive, though that could be in my head. Is it worth the money? No, probably not. They are beautifully made, and they make me enjoy driving my car more, though, and I’d 100% buy them again.

I was debating on BMC intake, Armaspeed, Dinan or Eventuri.... Initially Eventuri was in the front runner since videos online seem to have better sound, but I just found out about Armaspeed. Now I have no idea what to go.

videos online of Armaspeed seem a little quiet, but from the comments it sounds like they are really good. BMS from youtube sound the loudest however it seems conflicting info.

Torn....

Do the Armaspeed intake covers help in reducing intake temps, as opposed to no covers/exposed filters?
