Guys,

As you know, ER has been officially released this midpipe.
I have helped them develop this product and been testing it since last year.
Unfortunately, due to being a small business owner, I was super slammed and didn't get a chance to unofficially announce it even though I've sold and installed a few sets.
Well, anyway, since it is officially launched and 2 other vendors already sharing the details.
Here are the video and pictures of the product from prototype to few local installs that I've done.

I will work on finding them and post and edit this thread.

For now, here is the picture on where to cut.
This is a picture from X3M/X4M where it only have 1 dimple.
While on G8x M3/M4, it has 3 dimples on each pipe. Cut on the middle dimple.



I also saw another question regarding this midpipe is equal length or not.
It is equal length since it is factory designed Y-pipe where the front cross pipe between the downpipe to midpipe is to make it equal length.

Another benefit, it is smoother bend than factory, so better exhaust flow.
Also, the midpipe design is very similar to F97/F98 X3M/X4M midpipe that I've designed for them. Which based on dyno, by itself gives 10whp gain at 91Octane.

Any idea of what aftermarket rear muffler setups require cutting at the same dimple and would mate up to this Midpipe?

In general, when pipe is warmer, the material able to absord high frequencies.
So, with that saying, it will be a little deeper.

I believe I did launch video, just have to find it.
It is either in my home computer or work computer.

Yes.
Factory exhaust is one whole piece from after downpipe all the way to the back.

Do you have any sound comparison to the PSI midpipe? Or between an X3M and G80/82? I have this pipe on the X3m and it's definitely louder on coldstart than my G82 with PSI.

I don't have video of PSI single midpipe.
PSI single midpipe sounds lower frequency since it has more volume for exhaust gas to fill.

Between X3M/X4M and M3/M4, they sound about the same.

I know for sure that Remus is.

AFAIK, there were material shortage.
For out of state order, it has to be the 2pcs design. Maybe they are out of stock.
