I'm in a similar situation. BMW Genius said the carrier could simply we waiting to be filled with other cars. With the chip shortage it could be taking longer for other cars to come out of the factories.

I've been in QC since 12/9 for my M4. It would be nice if they actually told everyone an estimate on how long we will ne waiting.

Since when have you been stuck in this status? And do you live in the US or Europe? Because I don't even know what the "carrier" means, is this simply a truck? Because mine doesn't have to board a ship or anything, it just has to travel a few hundred miles by truck to Belgium

My SA's exact words were "we are looking into January". That didn't sound like it was a short delay tbh. At least the cars are built and that's huge. I would be concerned if I was still waiting for production

After about 10 days sitting at port, my M4 just updated status to "In Transit"!

Awesome, congrats! So before this update, were you on the status "schedule for carrier" or was it a different status? I've been stuck on this status for over a week now, according to my SA they've had cars stuck in this status for 1-2 months in extreme cases…

Last night right before going to bed the status was "At The Port". I never saw the "awaiting carrier assignment" status as I didn't check for a period of a few days, but it looks like that happens before the car leaves the factory. On 12/3 the status was "Dispatched from factory", then it was "at the port" until this morning.

Hey bro, no, still no update stuck in 155 still. However, someone else in my dealership week 48 build had no stop sales or delays and is getting his car this week, I asked my CA about it, he had no explanation. But that is really weird, I actually did hear from my CA that they're having transport issues from the factory from my CA and another person from Europe who was week 45 build who is also stuck in 155 heard the same thing from his CA in regards to the transport issue

This sucks… I'm wondering if you and others being stuck at 155 also has something to do with a transport issue as well. Or whether mine being stuck at 182 is because some kind of stop sale, but who knows. Anyways, I hope you see some movement soon!

Also, do you know what status description and status number his car is at (the guy from week 48)? Because the status codes on the forum are for the US and the final ones don't apply to us I'd think
