Yes I've seen people do it both ways but I decided to be patient so I did a few highway drives to get to 1200 miles quicker

Nah no joke there, just never seen a service drive with the ceiling like that... it almost appears as if you are inside so I had to ask thats all.

Yes it's my first time at this dealership and their service bays are really nice. Service advisors actually sit right there in between the lanes where you pull up. I see how one would think this was taken at a showroom

yeah it was a trip--- I would hate to be the janitor having to clean the tire marks LOL....

I still have over 700 miles before Im at break in the 2nd G80... but Ill put some miles on today when I go get it aligned.

Trust me I got more hp after service as I was complying with break-in instructions but on the way back I used the full power band

Wanted to go with the "stealth mode" / "Darth Vader" look with this build. The black interior with the tint keeps the interior low key from the outside, leaving focus on the amazing FDG finish - which I must say is more impressive across all light conditions than I had thought it would be (having had it for a few days now). Absolutely loving it. And the depth of the finish means I'll probably steer away from any PPF - and trust the good Dr Beasley to help keep it in shape.

Traded my Carbon Black F86 X6M over full silverstone (awesome machine) for this one, and wanted a bit of a change of interior feel in that sense.

The Tanzanite F95 X5M Comp is also full black interior - but that is mainly due to the two regular teenage male passengers and their dog (note that the mutt will never ride in the G80).

Aiming to get the IND black roundels to get rid of the only chrome on the G80 exterior to more complete the look - but will likely need a few days to get over the fact it will cost more than $200 in postage to Australia...
