I placed an order for KW HAS. It seems as if there are no complaints about the KW whereas there are some complaints about the MSS. It also helps that the KW is a bit less expensive.
A lot of people have also said that the KW rides very similarly to stock, so as long as it's not unbearable - I'm sure I'll be fine. Thanks all

Well Well. Those on the fence with the H&R VTF Has Kit look no further.
First it fits aWD with no issues, drove 3 hours after I got them installed ZERO bouncing or noise. Literally felt just like stock dampening. See pic as reference (not fully settle nor it set where I wanted) but for now these have my vote. Ah it does have more room to go lower, more so on the RWD I believe (since they were meant for RWD initially. |

Comfort now feels like Stock Sport n so on. Very good ride nonetheless no noises or bounciness. Fronts still have some room but not much. Rears are half way.

I'm a little confused so maybe you guys can help me out? What parameters are we trying to achieve? Please note my car is the Competition M4 with 20" rear and 19" front. When lowered on adjustable springs do we want the car ride height to be the same in the front as in the rear? It appears that when the rear is lowered to a nice height and with minimal wheel gap that the front wheel has a larger gap than the rear. Do we take into consideration the 1" wheel size difference and thus the front will always be 1" lower; even after lowering the car?
I would appreciate clarification on this from those who can steer me in the correct direction. Thanks in advance. |

Some do like to even out the gap while compromising the car's handling characteristic. Some do like to keep the factory gap ratio / rake to maintain the car's handling characteristic. All of my customers that really drive the car and care about the handling, will keep the factory rake where height adjustable spring comes in play. Most of regular lowering springs does it to even out the gap. So, handling characteristic is compromised. Your front and rear wheel size difference doesn't matter in this case, what matter is the overall rolling diameter.

With that, I think the recommendation is to go with lowering springs. Then the next question is, do I go with HAS. It sounds like the AST gives the front lower than rear appearance. Can someone confirm along with thoughts and guidance? |

Realistically, the MP suspension will be a rebranded kit already on sale (I think they used KW previously?) with little to no change other than branding on parts. That’s not saying it will be bad, but there will be a premium to buy the same kit from bmw.

I just had mine installed today as well pics coming soon. How far down is the front and rear? Do you know what the height is from the bottom of the rim to front fender?
Also, do you happen to have pics of the front install as they were being installed? I have another thread talking about KW's instructions. |
