Not super clear but it absolutely do not sound as the car has become number rather the opposite which is a good thing. Traction should be far superior given the change in tires and comments from these first reviews, if you still want more, you’ll have it in spades with the AWD. |

That translation is jibberish. I have almost no idea what it means. It was hilarious.
I DO know that the yellow render confirms my fears of absolute and utter front end design failure. Perhaps the M3 will be less offensive. |

As I once said in a past post, whoever wants to take on modified front ends for the G80 series BMW's, they could potentially make a KILLING in sales. I'm just sayin.

Very pleased to read that the new M will be a splendid ride and a clear improvement over the current M4 comp, which is the most satisfying car I ever drove. Might fall in love afterall, in spite of the blatant kidney grill??

At that Point it's basically meme-spamming. Don't like it? Fine. Just don't spam it in every Thread available. I was hoping for a nice duscussion about features and characteristics of the car but no, half the Thread is crying about the grille again. It gets old. It says 4 Piston (Front) with steel discs comes as standard, Carbon Ceramics with 6 Pots are optional.

I have now edited the OP.
Tried to "translate" the Google translation into what is, hopefully, a more coherent text… Neither English nor German is my first languages (I speak both) but I have tried to clean the text up to the best of my ability Last edited by Boss330; 07-31-2020 at 03:46 AM.. |

Not quite. The correct translation would be more like:
"Add to that a six- instead of four pot fixed mounted Brake(caliper) with carbon ceramic Discs, in Doubt (weird wording) both available as an Option." Sorry englisch isn't my first language. |

I'd say "most probably both available as options", from my reading.

I do believe that by doing this, we mourn over the inconsistent behaviour of BMW lately and we feel somehow betrayed. This is the company that has pushed values like no other car brand before, and since a few years they keep ignoring them. To make it worse, they are arrogant in their communication: "When you don't like the grill, it's because you're conservative" or "when you don't like FWD, you don't understand car dynamics". BMW is strongly polarising his own fanbase. So when somebody is to blame, it's mainly them. Not us since we all have BMW in our heart... for the time being. |

Did anyone on the East Coast Tri-State area get this invite in your email?
Interesting comment on a BMW M Track Day event BMW NA is having in a couple weeks at Monticello Race Track (full day is booked so I'm considering a 1/2 on 8/16). Maybe a closed room G8x reveal? "The fun doesn't stop here! Don't miss this unique opportunity to be the very first to see the newest addition to the BMW M lineup during a premium closed-room event. Please note that cell phones and cameras will not be permitted in the closed room". Note: This is only an hour from BMW Headquarters in Woodcliff Lake so it would make sense. I saw the M2 driving around HQ in camo back in 2015 when it first stuck it's head out.
