Other than the changes in the inlays I struggle to see a difference. Certainly nothing anyone is going to actually do, certainly not BMW

It won't. None of these 1000 renders that have been posted here will.

Those grilles are ok. You don’t even see them when driving.

I saw this article too, and while subtle, I liked the lower grill. How it lines up with the headlights. That aside I could definitely see myself switching to the mesh...though it may be too Audi.

BMW is not significantly changing the front facia or grille anytime in the near future, most of the click bait renderings look worse, and any that might look better would generally be too costly to be purchased by more than literally a few buyers (lease holders aren’t very likely to swap out the front end then swap it back to turn it in), so it’s time to accept the grilles or shop elsewhere.

I agree.

I think the grill is fine but I am also not in the camp looking to buy/lease an m3, but these renderings are for people who have been looking forward to the car and clearly the grill will be a topic for discussion in a car forum.

Seems to me they did in fact change its size.

I like the original in pictures better, but given this car who knows what any change would look like unless seen in person, I have realized how different a car can look. At this stage I am surprised we are still talking grill, but I guess that means we will be talking about grill forever now. Hopefully this means solid discounts will be available to me in a year or so.

We buy/lease for us. If a pedestrian doesn’t like my car then that is too bad.

That's better. Can't imagine getting an M3/4 without a grill change.

I can't stand the honeycomb "grilles" as they're currently used for the lower intakes and such. They don't look horrible on newer cars when they're new, but actually drive it a bit, and it's by far the cheapest looking part of the car. Hard to keep clean due to all the surface area parallel to the ground.

It's completely brutal to clean. Absolutely agree.

They can change whatever the heck they want, I like the front and will leave it on stock. Even if they would offer me money to change it, I won't.

And say what you want...people are starting to like it.

Compared to the Genesis G80 or the new Cadillac the BMW's are actually 2 beauties...

Not if you approach the car from the rear. You should back in to your garage to avoid such a problem.

It's starting to sound like this car is Medusa. Don't look at it in the eyes and you'll be fine!
