Hideous. Orange WTF?

In fact whole interior colour palette is tacky and tasteless much like the car itself.

Not enough choice. Silverstone by far the best non-black option but even then the two tone hurts the eyes.

Agree with the other post the CF buckets are amazing and absolutely the best thing about the G8x.

That you have to pay through the nose for them as an option is an insult given the car is 10% more expensive than the outgoing model already.
I agree, I'm no fan of Kylami Orange. I was actually referring to the frozen exterior. Frozen Portimao I assume?

The carbon seats look nice except for that hump in the middle. I feel like that would bother some people. Especially someone with bigger thighs

I like that the first reason is for performance driving.

Is there any difference in comfort between ventilated and non-ventilated M Sport seats? I read that ventilated seats are usually stiffer. Does anyone know?

I asked them about the issue of the leather that could wear when touching it all the time when jumping in and out...of course no answer, they prefer to answer that the favourite color of them is. what the actual f*** BMW ??

They spend all that money to develop cf bucket seats only to saddle it with a heavy motor or two.

The hump in the middle and the "hump" on the sides that you have to climb over to get in and out. It doesn't seem like the ideal every day seat

F80 owners, do you have a feeling that drivers seat left side sidebooster provides less support then the right side?
My seats are base, but I sat in friends ZCP seat and is the same feeling...like bmw made It intentionaly for easier Ingress/Exit.
This been bothering me for 4 Years now and i hope the new g80 bucket seats will be straight and provide eaqual left/right support...

Take care getting in and getting out of the car. That should limit the wear on the leather. I wouldn’t expect any company to comment on wear and tear items. We’ve all had cars with leather interiors and I believe we all know the problems that occur with side bolster and such. I would assume if care is not taken getting in and out of the vehicle the same would apply.

Well it's not supposed to be an "everyday seat" from a comfort and ingress/eagress perspective. The standard ///M seat fits that bill and can even be optioned with ventilation. The CF seats are more focused towards sporty/track driving. While they are still suitable for daily use, they are slightly compromised. We should just be happy that BMW is giving the option of an even more sporty seat.

My point being that a lot of people seem to be opting for them as a must have option, but how many people track their car vs just using it as a DD? I'm thinking the overwhelming majority of people use their cars as a DD or similar which for me (along with the cost) makes the seats a must not have option, cool as they certainly are.

If you mean in terms of aesthetics, what's with that stupid dick hump? They look a little over styled and ridiculous.

I would argue that Lexus GSF/RCF seats are a great balance between aesthetic appeal and comfort.

However, I am looking forward to people getting these cars and sharing their candid opinion of seat comfort for long drives. Hopefully they are actually comfortable.
RCF seats are amazing. Drove my F82 to a car show sat in a RCF, mind was immediately blown. Got back in my F82, immediately got jealous. The RCF interior is nice. You can tell its Toyota, but it feels QUALITY!

Number one mod I'd like to see on the G80 with Carbon buckets would be shoehorning the M5CS individual rear seat into the M3.
Or will BMW think to do that from the factory with the M3CS ?
Funny how the buyer demographics change with each model...Carbon buckets offered on M2 I believe the uptake would be around 90%, offered on the M3/4 uptake maybe 50%, offered on M5 uptake maybe 25%.

Certainly would have loved them in my F82 M4. Maybe I'll do a retrofit if I keep it long term and can do more track days.

As I understand it, the M carbon buckets allow a lower seating position than the standard M sport seats. However, I'm only 5'8" so I would want to be sure they can actually RISE enough where I feel comfortable.

Does anyone know if they have adequate seat elevation adjustment? The video mentions electric seat "tilt" adjustment but not elevation adjustment in regards to the M carbon bucket seats.

At 5'8" I am sure you'll be fine. At BTW, you always want to sit as low as possible in a car to better feel what the chassis is doing.
