Still not a fan of the grill but I'll give credit when it's due. The M3 really does pull off this grill.

I went Toronto Red on Silverstone bucket seats because at least TR is light and will highlight the CF well. My subsequent G80 will be either Fire Orange or Yas Marina Blue, once they open up the individual orders for US cars.
I believe the Toronto Red will rock!
On the other hand, the very rare occassions I spotted the CS in San Marina, I was also seriously impressed. San Marina is not a std color I see every day! Certainly much better than the primer greys, which is a color I never understood and better suits a trabant or dacia.

Yes, PB and Estoril are 1st cousins, although I do prefer PB

If it’s bigger, heavier (and uglier!), how can it be more agile?

Faster, especially in a straight line, sure. More agile? I don’t buy it, and am considering the source.

Well, lets wait for the final reviews, but, nowadays there are a ton of things you can do to a car to make it more „agile" besides weight reduction...

The cars have been made stiffer in the front and also moving from 245 to 275 in the front will have quite an impact on handling and steering feel...

However, besides Shmee, there is another german video driving a late prototype and so far everyone that has driven the cars has moved from „I'm not sure" to „woow, better than thought"...so I would not make to early decisions....

About the look:
I also was not a fan of the look, but seeing the car in person a month ago in a private closed room has changed my mind quite a lot, so much that I consider getting one, which was not the case at all after seing the pics.
The whole design makes a lot more sense if you see the car in person, the front is not a beauty, but has a very special character and very agressive presence.

It struck me as a short infomercial from the M head. There was zero chance of him conveying any present negative driving dynamics.

My thoughts exactly!
Totally should be an option when ordering, color matched or not

Exactly. wake me up when Chris Harris has a go at it. For me, I would like to test drive at some point, but I just don't see how it would work based on my test drive of the "barge" M340i. Hopefully the next M2 gets me more excited.

Seats look hot.

I expect that color-coding the Shadowline lower trim will be an option by Individual Manufaktur very soon or a factory option by the LCI time.

This gloss black trim makes this busy styled car much busier.

The M340i is a barge? Said no one ever. Overall, the car has been praised for its performance and the way it drives (the few criticisms have largely been its steering, not its size or even weight).

This sounds like a personal problem... or you just need a Miata...
