What's really strange it says the M5 & M8 has the same amp as the M3. So two models that cost tens of thousands of dollars more and they all share the weaker amp but the M4 warrants a 600 watt amp? Perhaps they gave it to it to make up for sharing far more with its common cousin 4 series. I jest.

maybe with the HK System, I'd be surprised if the B&W ran the same amp. I really miss mine, sound was fantastic, B&W should be an option on the M3

I don't think it does have a different amp, the page is likely just wrong. The non-M 3 and 4 have the same 464 watt amp.

I agree it must be an error surely - I mean why would every other M-model have the 464W amp and one solitary model (M4) have the 600W amp?

Does not make any sense, just from the pragmatic point of view of production purchasing/planning to have to vary for one specific model on a common electronic component/module - unless there is some very odd (and extremely unlikely) design consideration that left them with no other option...

Can actually somebody with an M4 and HK just locate the amplifier and check whether it has a name plate on it?
