Mine was a squeek or grinding type of noise. Hard to describe. Noise came and went but did get worse and more constant.

2023 g82 M4 comp. Pick up the car brand new from the dealer. First speed bump already felt it. Knocking like something is loose coming from steering area. Can’t really hear the knocking sound but definitely can feel it in my hand. This is in south east Asia. Indonesia. Some of my friends has the same problems. Now It’s 2000km and I have changed KW V3 coilover Suspension and 21” Wheels. It’s definitely louder and feel more intense. Btw, the problem is when the car goes to uneven road (smooth uneven) and speed bumps. Will have the service look at it this week. I’ll report back what they have to say

+1 - 2024 g80 m3 (Dec delivery) - Noticed it, but it's not loud and I mainly noticed it at very slow speeds. I assumed it was some friction in the column/wheel, and wasn't loud enough to cause concern. However, it is similar to the video.

yeah its only at slow speeds for me too, as long as its not a defect then ill be fine, but going to the dealer today to drive some Demo's to see if any sound the same

I do not feel like having them take apart my steering system on my new car

My G82 M4CX does it too sometimes, normally noticeable when driving the car for the first time during the day - not loud or frequent enough to bother me and doesn't affect the steering.

My '24 M3 has the same exact sound, did you get it fixed? If so, what was the fix?
