Oh yeah!! Looks great. I love the LCi touches. Great options. Confirm the heated steering wheel function can only be accessed through iDrive? I also heard the wheel may have a vibrate function. Im guessing with lane intervention?

Heat only through iDrive, and I'm pretty sure my MY24 has steering wheel vibration? Hits me for things like BSM, lane departure warning, etc.

ttsar did you option for galvanic controls? Edit: looks like no based on the lack of galvanic on the passenger door lock buttons

Just curious, because I'm seeing it on the new wheels for sale.

He has galvanic controls (you can see it on the window switch on the passenger side). The lock/unlock buttons don't get the galvanic switches (in the US) maybe? They do here (Canada) and everywhere else in the world it seems. Maybe that's why it was only $100 option lol

I can't really tell tbh, that silver looking reflection looks like it's on the surround trim, which is still black even on the galvanic option, so I think it's just the lighting. The picture on the configurator shows silver on the lock/unlock buttons, so I'm assuming it did.

"grats!

I am not sure if the new LCI headlights do it for me. They look good, but
Still use to the halo BMW headlights that the half circles allude to.

Steering wheel is now flat-bottomished?

Lol the lighting on these pictures is so unfortunate. Are your door lock buttons silver as well?

Didn't realize you were in Europe either.

It looks like they are silver if you zoom in on the driver's side picture (the lock buttons are ever so slightly angled away, creating a dark shadow). The passenger side doesn't even look like it has locks it's so dark lol.

Funny how times change. Back in the 90’s most people didn’t want chrome/silver. Everything went black. Now it seems like the pendulum is swinging. Personally I prefer black but it’s nice that folks now have the option.

If it were just silver painted I agree but it's a galvanic coating which is much nicer. And black matte just reminds me of plastic which is cheap.

Piano black is just bad in all situations

This. They feel much nicer. It's like wanting nicer metal (coated) shift paddles vs black plastic ones. They also match the other metal touches on the interior.

I certainly agree on the piano black. The first car I owned that had this was a 2011 CTS-V and it was a nightmare. Mine was scratched like crazy as I didn’t realize you could not clean piano black like other parts as it scratches just by looking at it. I’m actually happy my 6MT has a matte black center console trim vs the piano black I had on the M4C

Yes they are silver as well, as you said it was due to the light reflection
The M factory is 3 hours drive from where I live, that is why I got it pretty quickly.
