Tip to all, I had major issues with the Visualizer when using Safari on my Mac. It worked perfectly fine with the Chrome browser when you are playing with the colors.

Agreed .. IoMG is single handedly the best color produced by BMW to date. I'm biased of course

Also agree. In fact, I like it so much, I found myself building M3 specs over the weekend… just to see what I’d be looking at roughly… and I’m no where near being in the market yet!

I also really really like the Isle of Man Green. If I eventually move into one of these then it's my first choice. Unless my wife lets me spend $4500 on Atlantis Blue. That color on the G80 makes me hard.

For those of you frustrated with color representation in the city setting, change the background. I found it much more accurate (simulated daylight with no reflections, like the old visualizer). The one advantage of the 'city' background is the last image, which is a 360-degree animation of the 'daylight' background, set to lounge music. That shows how metallic and pearlescent colors change at different lighting angles. Way more insightful than the old visualizer.

Now if only they'd update the Individual Manufaktur catalog dated January 2021.

It’s the opposite of a money grab. A money grab would be if they said yes, but it would cost $10k+.

I wish we could see the real car in every color while outside and inside with the ability add or remove options but in VR. That way we can really see what colors really look like in the sun and shade.

This is a horrible example of Daytona Beach Blue for instance.

I thought so too, and then I went to the animated render at the end and the colour representation is much better there. Look at this G81 in Long Beach Blue in the still vs the animation in the screenshots I took.

I'm more concerned about the silly UI choice of the colour selector where you can't even tell the colour without hovering your mouse over it, and cycling through the nine displayed colours forces a colour change.

Last I heard they’ve actually retired the color. Not sure how much truth there is to it but does seem to make sense since no one has been successful in getting it approved.

Every model BMW that has the Individual color option available seems to be available to visualize in every individual color o0tion available.

BMW should be receiving many more individual color requests.

Edit: Two things. First, plan on obsessively playing with the color palette even if you are not in the market. Second, now I'm not sure that all Individual colors are actually on the visualizer. For instance, I could not find a frozen white. YMMV.

These are the best!! Debating an X5M purchase. Its sooooo hard to decide on a color. Some might think I'm nuts, but I would be happy with ANY color on an X5M.

It's pretty simple, really.

i4 is built in the Munich factory, which is configured to do Individual paint. M2 is built in the Mexico factory, which is not so configured.
