In EU the SUV reigns also. I was surprised to see this Touring is launched after all. It most probably required some serious difficult board meetings to get this through. All brands are dropping sedans and tourings at alarming rate.
I don't get this preference at all, but I see youngster university high potentials at work and they ALL dream of an iX3, X5 or Cayenne. When I ask "why" they all answer: "it's an incredible feeling hoovering above the others, it's ultimate luxury!". Nobody has any clue about vehicle dynamics and stiff suspension required, they take it all for granted. |

They gauged the demand with the F31. And the numbers were abysmal. My car has 41 brothers in the entire US. Forty one. I know others where there isn't another F31 like theirs in the entire country.
