New Corvette ZR1
I'm not a C8 Corvette person, but color me impressed and credit where it's due.

Hell of a car....
Guessing 195 to start, 230 with all options, 300+ with markups? Makes the G90 M5 look so stupid needing a hybrid to get to 717hp. Yeah i get it, they'll sell 20x more and needs to be legal in all countries, but still... |

This car looks pretty insane. Considering the current Z06 is already faster than a GT4RS, GT3, and on some tracks the GT3RS it is really going to be a statement for them if it really jumps another level. And on top of it, it's still going to be cheaper. I'm a Porsche guy, but seeing people paying 500-650K for 992 GT3RS' is a joke.
And to think there is apparently a Zora coming too. |

But the Demon requires E85 to make that power whereas the ZR1 makes it on 93 octane. I think the Z06 is more my style (I prefer NA cars) and would def be on my short list for another sports car.

How is this ZR1 supposed to get traction? Looks like it would be spinning most of 3rd gear on PS4S with that amount of power and torque

it will definitely be a boost by gear setup along with advanced traction control. might be recalibrated whether you spec the car with PS4S or Cup2s.
mclaren 750s has a similar power to weight ratio (ZR1 is going to weigh 3900 pounds with fluids / GM only gave us a dry weight of 3650 or something). as this car and does the same thing. i'm pretty sure ferraris have been doing this since the 488 as well. you probably wont get the full 1000hp until 90-100mph. It will be slower than the lighter z06 on smaller tracks. Faster tracks like F1 circuits will favor the ZR1
