Update - went with the Mesh option and glad I did. I think it would look too open for me without it.

Install was a treat with those clips, and I managed to get all of them on but my fingers may never fully recover.

Used a dab of hot glue to hold the sensor cables.

Only issue was that one sensor wouldn’t fully seat with the grommet on it. So had to remove the grommet and use some silicone to keep it tight. Wish they used the OEM sensor brackets without modifying them to fit the carbon.

I also wish they had a version without the place for the front badge as I think it looks great without any badging.

Will get some pics when the rain stops.

I like that you did the side vents too. If I do the vents it will be all of them like yours.

Looks great, and the mesh everywhere finishes it off nicely.

Is that an original Vorsteiner grille? The reason I ask is that I noticed you fit the M3 Competition badge on it. There is no way I can fit the “competition” part of the badge below the M3. Not enough room unless i put it on the lip of the badge section (if that makes sense?)

Sorry to highjack the tread but I noticed that you may need to cut the bumper foam for the grille? Is this true for both carbon and gloss black versions?

I went with Stradele also only because the oem one was back ordered everywhere. The hardware sucked that came with it.

I didn’t need to trim the foam at all.

Looks great. Are your carbon inlets OEM or aftermarket?

They are OEM. The Vorsteiner grille exactly matches the weave direction in the Inlets. OCD relief

Thank you! I’ll be adding the grill immediately after taking delivery, and wondered whether it would match my inlets. I’ve never seen any of these items in person so this makes me feel better. Also going with mesh based on your pics.

No issue with mine, other than the fitment with one of them requiring me to remove the rubber gasket, but it hasn’t impacted sensitivity/performance.

Random question for you guys with the mesh installed… how did you guys secure it to the grill? I was thinking hot glue but I’m not sure if there’s a better alternative.

I’m having this issue sporadically right now. Camera thinks some bring is close to me and turns on with beep.

Not sure how to resolve yet.
