Sunday Drive with some M's

I hosted a little meet up with some friends and their nice cars. Unfortunately public car meets aren’t what they used to be anymore in my opinion. Met up over by the bridge, went for a drive and ended up at Sunday Motor co.

That looks like it was a lot of fun. Those "drive, eat, pics" type of meets were my favorite part of the car culture, but you're right, they don't seem to happen much anymore. Things have changed. I miss the old way. Definitely looks like a great time and there were some cool cars. Kinda surprised there wasn't a single M4!

the old way is the only way - a small group of people is best. There actually way a Dravit Grey M4 pictured with the Ferrari Red G80. Kids/ immature people ruin car culture.

Ahh, I missed the M4 in the pic. But yeah, I'm just not a fan of the racing/takeover culture, nor am I trying to make my Instagram take off. I want to meet up with some like-minded professionals that love cars, go on a drive, get some food. I used to organize some pretty big meets backing the mid-2000s.... but that was ugh, 20yrs ago!

Great cars & photography!

I used to organize meets back on E90post "back in the day" and they were a blast. Harder to do today, the interest is not there for simple meet up + talk BMWs.

Thats Ruby Star M3 is so sick, I love it. I totally agree with you with the "public car meets" sentiment. It's so much better to get a group like this together to take cool pictures, go for a nice rip, and get some food. Cars and coffee and car meets in general have turned into something I'm not into anymore.

jct_m3 what are you shooting on? Super nice photos man... great eye.

100% car meets are not what they used to be. Not only kids but thieves scope out cars at those times.

Well I wish I joined this gathering some nice pics and colors on M cars here.

Oh wow looks awesome.

Where did you post this?

That Sunday Motor Co. looks cool.
I’ll have to check that out.

Yes, car culture has changed.

Many years ago I remember making the “OG” speech to a group of young car enthusiasts. “Becareful, don’t drive crazy fast etc.)

(It was a drive from Connecticut to English Town NJ.)

20 minutes into the drive a guy flipped his modified VW on the cross county.

We just got to the end of the Merit PKWY South. There is a twisty section on cross county.

Flipped the car. I was the last car all the way last following, so I see this after it happened.

Them young snappers were all hyped up.

Thank goodness no injuries. They were crawling out the side window as I drove by.
