Trunk keeps opening remotely

So. My car is parked three floors underground from my business. My spot is right next to the ventilation fans that come out on the plaza about 75' in front of my door.
Four times in the last few weeks, my landlord, who parks next to me, or the guys who run the loading dock and monitor the indoor parking garage (and all really like my car) have come to tell me that my trunk is open.
The last time, the car was unlocked and the trunk was open. I keep my key in my left front pants pocket, so it would seem as I move about the key is getting triggered.
I have parked in the same place for twenty three years and have had eleven different BMW's in the same parking space space with similar keys and the same basic pants and the same damn job.
Anyone else had this with their G80?
Not that worried about security at my work place, but out in the real world, this could be unfortunate.
I'm thinking an enclosure for the fob is the solution but thought this was curious.
Anyone else?

I'm confused. There is zero chance your key is working three floors underground. Are you locking the car when you leave it? Where is the key left? Locking the car would not allow the trunk to be opened, so how is it unlocking 30' underground?

The trunk button could be pressed as he’s walking away.

This is why I only use the digital key. I was constantly opening the trunk or windows when keeping the fob in my pocket.

Garage List
Had this happen to my G81, came out of my office to find the boot wide open. Assume I bumped the button in my pocket.

Anyone know if there is a deactivation button for the trunk lime there was for the F80/82? Didn’t see anything in the glove box on my G82.

Size: 56.7 KBI like keeping my key in one of these. That way the buttons won't get bumped if that is what is contributing to the trunk issue.
