Brooklyn or Dravit?

Question to you all - I am doing BG on KO, but am torn on caliper colors. I know I'm not doing red, but black isn't as flashy as blue is. Long term, I was going to get the calipers painted to match KO, but need to decide between blue or black right now. Any thoughts?

Given the choices, I'd do black I guess.

I would go with Brooklyn which initially was my first choice because dravit is fantastic when its sunny outside and the metallic gold flakes pop out. The days when its cloudy it looks black with no flakes and can be mistaken for a black car. Brookly even though thete are some blue hues its consistently gray. I hope this helps

People can say BG is played out but i don't think so. The shade of gray dravit has looks like every other gray out there. And although either color looks incredible, BG will draw more looks (if that's what you're into) and won't appear boring a year or 2, 3, 4 years down the road or however long you decide to own the car.

I know i sound biased because i picked BG but again, i was up in the air about anything.

I almost picked alpine white though because my C7 z06 is white lol. I wanted it to match lol.

But it's ok because when i get my C8 z06, i'm getting that in ceramic matrix gray, so almost identical to brooklyn gray lol

Dravit… I have BSM and love the subtle contrast dravit provides in regards to the black trim. Whenever I’m feeling good about myself I ponder the thought of going and ordering a ‘22-23 x and trading in my 6MT… oh well, blessed for sure and very much 1st world problems.

I saw both and went with Dravit after seeing how much more dynamic of a color it is in person. BG certainly looks impressive but it doesn't change much between lighter and darker light. Dravit really could be 3 different colors (low light, sunlight and bright/fluorescent light)

Wow!!!

Such an attractive color under different lighting. Could look like nardo, but has it's own twist under another lighting.

Now it makes me think if i should tint my windows (or at least if i should tint all around) because i wanna show off the gorgeous fiona red interior.

A little off topic, but is your tow hook cover missing in this pic? I saw in another thread that someone's car was missing the cover.

I went with the same color combo, but with the red calipers.
I don't think the calipers are big enough to clash with the orange interior.

I see people posting about Brooklyn Grey being played out or overused, but maybe it's the case in other parts of the country. I've gotten asked multiple times if it's a "custom color." I do think Dravit Grey looks amazing and like nothing else I've seen, especially in the sun, but Brooklyn Grey won for me by a thin margin. I wanted the Fiona Red interior and think that it (and red calipers) looks better with that than Dravit Grey would. I like Dravit Grey better with Kyalami Orange.

That was my logic, although since I got the G83 with the top down I'm worried the clash may be significant.

If i had to choose between dravit and brooklyn grey i would 100% go for dravit. It is that my previous 5 series was Sophisto Grey which is close to dravit grey, and i do not like twice (nearly) the same color, but if not i would most likely have chosen dravit myself. Because i did not want a dark grey again i chose a lighter grey myself (but not Brooklyn) : Oxide Grey, which is also a great color.
