Strange front end vibration/resonance

My G80 M3 has a strange vibration that happens sometimes at low speeds, low RPMs (usually happens in between 1200-2200 RPMs), and specifically when the car is warming up. Anyone else experiencing a similar issue?

I have the same issue. Did you already find a solution. It sound like humming and is very sporadically.

Without more details this sounds normal. Your engine is working up to operating temps.

I think I've been experiencing the similar vibration the OP posted except my engine's been running warm. It happens at low speed and RPM (~1500). It sounds like a phone vibrating. Were you able to find a fix or another post describing this?

Happens to me also, I always thought it was exhaust drone associated with a cold start while applying a slight engine load.

I'm having the same issue I noticed today 11/17/2022 in Neutral when I hold the idle at 1,800 RPM or gently rev the motor up below 3,000 RPM I can feel the vibration from the motor. It's an obvious vibration just like a phone vibrating

Same here. Car only has 900 miles, started noticing since 700. It's mainly in the morning, when reversing, goes away once warmed up

I've noticed this even in my X5. I think it's a normal artifact of G series cars. But I don't have in my M2C.

As long as it is not harmonic vibration through the crank, flywheel or anything internal from the motor. That can easily damage bearings and cause wear. When you gently rev the motor at low RPM or hold the throttle between 1,700 RPM up to 2,800 you can obviously notice it.

Any type of vibration is definitely not a normal thing unless BMW give us a Legitimate explanation

Hopping it's something normal specially on cold starts.

Mine is a distinct vibration/resistance when off throttle at low speeds with the RPMs dropping to around 1,000rpm. It's weird and it only started after my break in service.

I know It can't be from the manual transmission with clutch assembly because people with automatic transmissions are having the same issue with converters.

It has to do something with the motor. I've been building cars for a very long time and understand the technical aspects of it. I just wonder what would cause the vibration at any RPM range.

I had a bad front end vibration when coming to a stop, only in sport brake and my sport plus engine and chassis settings, but it disappeared after 3k miles. No explanation from my service visit other than "might be the brakes." A few times the brakes did make a sound like a bicycle with rim brakes pushed hard or wet disc brakes. But that's gone, too. So it's a mystery, but if it was the brakes it makes sense that once broken in the sound disappears.

The issue is when you're in park or neutral. Not while driving the car 🙂.

Ah, so for me it was less than 5 mph, almost like the transmission was hesitating. I was worried it was the AWD system. Should have read the issue more carefully, but in case anyone has THIS issue of vibration...

Is there any solution here?
I have had my M3 for a few days and am also affected by it.
I also feel these vibrations in the range of about 1800 rpm.

Mine went away after a few thousand miles. Is yours AWD?

Yes, mine is also an AWD.
I will also watch it and first do the break in and hope that it just disappears.
