these are aftermarket powder coated in prismatic champagne nuggets transparent over polished aluminum base. they were originally copper bronze from edelweiss but i decided to change it up. however i believe this finish is pretty close to edelweiss champagne.

Awesome wheels and a great company to deal with! My Edelweiss' got caught up in customs for several weeks. Alex was right there with me, sharing frustrations and doing everything in his power to fix it. When the wheels got to me, they were exactly what I wanted! He made it right on his end. I'd recommend them to any F8x/G8x owner.

Edelweiss Frozen Black with Titanium Lug Torx Bolts.

I know they’re not Forged wheels but there is no wheel that comes close with regards to the concavity IMO, so I’ll take my chances against the Houston Pot Holes!

Yes. I believe it was around $150 last year when I ordered mine.

Shipping was fast, though I did need to fill out an import document and pay $280 to UPS to handle the importatation, but it was no big deal.

One of the best parts of the experience was working with Alex. He listened to what I was after, made some suggestions, and ultimately exceeded my expectations in customer service. We decided to go with 20” front and rear, 285/295 tires which are a tad larger than stock but meet the X-drive requirements.

I would recommend Edelweiss as an option to consider.

My 7 year old son said “Dad, those wheels are fi-nancial!!!” To which I learned ‘fi-nancial’ is apparently like awesome in his 7 year old group slang

Wheels plus tires were lighter than stock by ~5lbs each with larger diameter and width.

How do you keep from marring the lugs? Seems like the amount of force for torquing them would create wear? How often do you need to recheck the torque?

Mine are black (can’t recall if PVD or anodized) and have no issues with marring. I am careful on socket use but it’s not as delicate as you might think.

Torque to factory. Check after day or so like you would normally.

I just got a quote for LT3s with tires, TPMS, mounted and balanced. Are Michelins significantly cheaper to source in EU? Their quoted cost for the PS4 was about 60% of what I've sourced locally. However I was a little sticker shocked by shipping about 2x what I estimated, maybe they are just moving cost around and itemizing things a little different.
