Brake dust is bad on any wheel and worse on matte/satin finish.

My wife’s Audi S5 Sportback has a set of BBS CI-Rs that are satin finish. The S5 dusts pretty bad too, and it’s a struggle to keep them nice. They have been ceramic coated, which helps but when it wears off you can tell.

Without weekly washing, brake dust will have those wheels looking rough.

Just ordered an M performance front lip and Alcantara/Carbon seat backs for the M Sport seats ($2,766.59 w/shipping & tax)....saved $573.34 compared to the best price I could find here in the States at a BMW parts site. Both parts were in stock.

Tip: DO NOT USE PayPal....over $100 higher than just using a credit card.

They're standard on the CSL, and I don't think you'll be able to order them as an option on the regular G8X.

Thankfully BMW seems happy to sell them separately.

Maybe a dumb question but how do you scrub stubborn brake dust off matte wheels without polishing them?

I added the M performance front lip to the cart, last week and it didn't offer me shipping options, so, I figured it wouldn't let me ship it to the US.

On a side note, I ordered something else from them, spent $1,244 and it took like 8 days for them to ship it out. Then I went back and happened to notice they had like 4 out of 5 stars and started reading reviews. It seems that tons of people order stuff and they claim it's in stock, and it isn't. Or people have been waiting 20 days or longer, with zero communication.

I emailed them about 10 times and my package finally shipped, today. So, I guess it's coming. I paid like $60 extra for Express, but it's still taking a week to get here. Prices are great, but I'm not all that impressed with their service.

You blast them with a pressure washer first, then you use one of the many wheel cleaners with a iron remover…let it dwell…DO NOT LET IT DRY, then gently agitate with a wheel brush then rinse.

That should do it without polishing the wheel.

Sorry to hear that, this is my first time ordering from baum as well.

I'm not receiving my new M3 until at least October, so I'm in no super rush to get my parts....

No word yet on stock.

I'm checking every few days, and I've asked 2 separate places to let me know once the rears are available.

What updates are you looking for? The shops we listed, above, sell them. They are the same sizing as the 826M wheels, so, BMW Michelin Star marked tires will fit them. No availability information on the Cup 2R. Stock photo.
