A quick question, have you experienced any binding with the MSS springs, I have two coils hitting on mine, we just ordered sleeves. In the MSS video they show sleeves on the springs but not included.

I have no issues with the one kit on either of my G80's thus far with a combined mileage of around 1650 all in with the springs on the cars.

I wonder what the variable is? We both have M3's and same kit. The owner of the install shop has same binding issue. We ordered sleeves which will be here next week and should solve the issue it is weird that the MSS video clearly shows sleeves on theirs in the install.

Glad yours have been issue free. It's not a big deal if the sleeves work but to be honest, while I love the ride of the MSS springs their disclosure and customer transparency has been far less than expected for a product range in this price group.

I've been running MSS on my G80 since July, and for more than 3,000 miles. No issues whatsoever in that time period.

I have no idea what is going on with yours....you are local right? Go see Ben and see what he shows you (for clarity).

I have no issues with MSS as my installer has done a great job. I cant comment on any other installer as I have no tangible experience with MSS outside of r33_RGSport

So far, all the MSS kit for G8x that I've done in house doesn't have issue.

For those that installed this kit yourself, what torque value did you use for the lower control arm to frame bolt and for the damper to lower control arm bolt?

Got this from Ben and really appreciate it:

Rear lower shock is 100Nm. Rear lower arm on camber bolt is 175Nm. Rear lower arm to subframe 165Nm.

It would be nice if MSS included this in their instructions or evolved tuning listed it in their video. Doesn't help that BMW actively withholds this info from owners unless you pay $30/day access. They need to watch a few install videos by Cobb or CJ Pony to see how it's done. Maybe it removes liability incase an incorrect torque is listed

No. I just snugged this down. Probably 30-40 ft lb.

Oh. And remember when doing the rear, snug them down when your happy with the spring sitting straight (no bowing) but get it at ride height/weight before you torque it down. Do this by putting your jack outboard on the control arm and lifting until that rear jack point is just coming off the jack stand or Quickjack.
