Far more thigh room as the side boulsters are almost completely straight compared to the slanted regulars. Both are cool but if I upgrade seats oem im gonna try hard to find CSL buckets. I assume they may be a option on the g80 CS |

An even cooler example. They can include those light up logos too.

Here are mine, they are an Alcantara type of fabric which matches the other Alcantara in the car. Lot’s of 1M and M2 people do these seats FWIW.

Drove over 600 miles over the last 24 hours. Two +6 hour trips. They aren't lazboys. But I experienced more back pain in a fully adjustable lux Porsche panamera 21 seat than I did these over a very similar time/distance.
I started messing w the panamera seats like 15-20 miles into that trip. That said, it could have been in my mind bc I expected luxury. They were supposed to be legit. Never experienced such discomfort. I've driven a few other Porsche and never hand an issue. Loved the 22 Macan. The buckets in my G80 are surprisingly comfortable. However, I feel like my expectations are realistic. I stretch my back occasionally and reacclimate. But yo, I'm telling u that I experienced worse in what [others] claimed to be better. Note that these bucket seats, which hug u more than pretty much every other if you've ever had em (ie, they tight), are heated. Also, an M3 emblem lights up just below the rest. They sexy & they wow. Highly recommend. Sit in em before u buy/order of course. That said, I got em bc I'll be driving the car like once a week. If ur in and out ur car all day everyday, prob not for you if you'll be daily driving. I bought w a buddy, he tried the seats and instantly knew he was not about to deal w constantly getting over the walls that keep u in place when u track. But for me, getting into and being in those seats makes it an experience, not a commute. |

100% no regrets!
Yes they are a little challenging to get in and out of compared to a normal seat but feel it's worth it once you are in. I felt they were easier to get in or out than my mind had envisioned reading the forums. They put me in a different mindset everytime I sit in them that puts a smile on my face. It adds to the experience of driving the car for me personally. It puts me in that "Lets do this!" mentality. And of course they are beautiful to look at.

Lots of people in here saying they don’t regret them with MY23 cars they got recently. People who’ve had the car less than 6 months should refrain from commenting.
Two cars for sale on FB in the last week where the person claims they’re selling because of the buckets. That’s just an anecdote, take it however you like. I have zero regrets on not getting them. If you’re driving the car daily you’ll regret them IMHO. They’re comfortable but getting in / out of the car is too annoying. If it’s your Sunday driver and you want the wow factor for that weekly point A to point A drive, then by all means get the buckets. |

Had them in a few cars, approach a year now in total, love them and would get them again and again. My wife is a bit irritated because getting out is such a pain, but then mine are not in the family ride, but the fun cars.. I am a big guy at 6’5” and they still fit me, although if I was much wider I would be in trouble…

At least they are a reasonable distance to the earth. The guys around my town with huge lifted trucks are kidding themselves if their SO's like climbing a flight of stairs to get in and out. |

I had them on my M4 order. Found a car in the area with them and decided I better go check them out. Well, I didn’t like them when I tried them out. Also knew my wife would never get in this car if I had them (maybe I should have kept them, just joking).
I was able to switch them out for the standard seat, and don’t regret it at all. It’s all personal choice, they look awesome, but just not me me. |

Best and most special aspect of my car. They are also a bargain. Do it and don’t look back.

I had them on my build and guess what? When I got the car it looked excellent, but unfortunately I didn’t like the fit and lack of support, was pretty tight and I’m 5,11 220 pounds and it was a bad choice not comfortable at all for long trips and I believe it’s not worth the money, I happen to buy the standard regular m seat and they’re comfortable and just overall better fit. If you want comfort, space, practicality and support then get the standard m seat, if you want just the looks, a little bit of weight loss on the car and lack of back support etc then go with carbon buckets. But it was a wasted of money for me, got lucky I sold mines. But it’s all preference.
