I assume you have to have a model capable of over the air updates, which started with idrive 7.

The 21's need the increased sound. It's the 20's that sound great already

My 2021 X6 M50i built in April 2021 shows the same 21-03 with no new update due. Maybe it will change soon to add the new one.

Read the post - it says the roll out starts today with Germany and then slowly rolling out in other markets…patience is the key here my friend

Sometimes it glitches and shows miles instead of km, but it fixes itself in a while
