Overall nice job with the render but it looks like the official picture has a lot more creases and separations going on with the rear fenders than the renders smooth look.

The wing looks interesting in the pictures as well, asymmetrical with what looks like tracks for full adjustability. Likely it’s a full CF system without the weight adding light fixture in the render.

There are more small difference which I suspect will tighten up and make it look more agressive than the overly soft look of the render but we’ll see.

Nice job with the render

If this would be in the price range of the M4 CSL…okey, but for the pricing that's set…I would expect something veeeery close to this:

To me the car looks very close with one sad exception. The straight bottom line of the windows make a huge difference to tighten and strengthen the look of the concept vs the M4 and the obvious curve of the CSL teaser picture, big mistake

Exactly…it reminds to much to the normal M4 car and looks like the concept things have been fitted to the M4, but IMO it needs unique lines, different shape of lights an so on, so adapt the normal car as possible to the concept and not the other way around…it is of course expensive to do, but for the price it costs I would expect to buy a 'kind of concept car' as a customer.

Concept was spot on. This version, if released, is not.

2015 Renault RS275R  [9.50]
2019 Renault RS280  [10.00]

For the money BMW are charging i would have expected a completely bespoke supercar, not something based on a 4 series.

Assuming the rumors are true, this car will be an embarrassment. Low volume alone does not justify an $800K price tag - the product itself needs to be special.

Hopefully BMW will come through with some bespoke mechanical parts and not just sell an M4 with stage 1 tune and a body kit.

Cars in this price range are thoroughbreds, It is sacrilegious to compare the BMW CSL with the likes of Aston Martin and Ferrari. I am a BMW fan boy, but I like to keep it real. The CSL better sport some exotic unequal A Arms upfront

LOL, I think it funny. Build an expensive car in 2022, good motor, decent panels and add a manual gearbox 6 spd, not 7.

I mean why don't we all go back to dial up and brick phones.

At least do a cool gearbox something like koenigsegg did on the jesko.

BMW lost its way catering to a market of people who are not drivers or racers.

I find comments like this kind of humorous. BMW never "catered to racers" and one could argue that BMW is the last of the mid-level premium manufacturers that still builds driver's cars. Everybody wants to romanticize BMW and believe they can play in the field with exotics. They cannot! They are a volume manufacturer that focuses on entry/mid-level passenger cars and that also builds a few driver's cars for their buyer base under subdivision ///M.

Meh. At $800k these will never see a road. From an investment perspective not sure it makes sense. Unless they plan on only making 50 of these I don't see this as a good investment and at $800k definitely not something most would want to drive. Will be interesting to see the reception and even more interesting to see values in 5 or 10 years.

At least stuff like this keeps the forum busy

" body kit and a tune". people said same thing about the F series CS models. Come to find out they were pretty special. If you haven't driven both a comp and CS both on street and track you can't really comment about performance . Buncha haters round here. Not saying the 3.0 is worth whatever they are going to charge. Just be amazed BWW even built a car like this in todays new green political and automotive world.

At 800k looks are paramount. That will look like a mustang had sex with a civic. No good.
