So the wheels are gold.
Base is liquid silver, lightly tinted gold.
They do look silver from certain angles.
The customer wanted a match for the M2cs and we weren't sure if we can get a perfect match so we went a different route and the finished product looks amazing in real life.

Precisely why I couldn't do the green/gold/red combo on the CS. In hindsight I should have gone with green rather than the frozen grey but with gold calipers.

In all fairness, I don't believe the G82 CSL is pitted against the 992 GT3, price and performance wise, as it was the case with the E46CSL and E92/F82 GTS. It is more in the segment of the 992 GTS Lightweight.

I agree, will be receiving the CSL and with the GTS on order I see them now as similar in capability and usage potential.

Having ridden Ina new GT3, it's just on another level of track focused spectrum.

To me the fact BMW is offering the CSL with "regular memory" buckets, special livery delete and street tires speaks for itself. We will see how it drives but I really don't think it will be a great regular track partner, maybe 2-3 events per year but at 8-10 events it's going to cost 2x in consumables vs a GT3.

It is afterall a limited run car ment to please the BMW fans and show what BMW is capable of. Some sort of icon for BMW.
