In Switzerland there was a 1k sticker price difference between M4 CSL and 992 GT3. While it may have been a close call between 996 GT3 and E46 M3 CSL (prefer the latter), today it's no competition (in terms of want). the GT3 is so much more special with its n/a flat-six and the optional manual gearbox.

Plus the photos don't show an angle to see whether or not there are stripes on the top of the trunk. |

Definitely gives off the Adam West Batmobile vibe…but I like it!
If I could get one, I'd still opt for Frozen BG with the red accents though.

I want to like it. I know it is more than capable, it just does not feel as special as others have.
All they needed to do is add real hood heat extractors, delete the stripes and put a real spoiler on the back. I hate the stripes. Still, not as bad as what the 23' M4 stripes look like.

Guess it depends what your needs are, they seem to fair pretty well at the track and I heard they cost almost 50% of an M in consumables to run.

Def all black. No strips. Stealth wrap. Perfect. If you can leave the hood and trunk full carbon that might be nice. Instead of painting the carbon just leave it unpainted carbon fiber.

i don't see the m4csl as a track car though. I see it as a superformance gt40 type car. you can track it but why? these are "long and curvy way to the coffee shop or breakfast in the hill country, etc" cars that you just appreciate the experience, not turn a lap time. |

I am about 1.5 hrs from Circuit of the Americas, my next track day is in September, but even if my CSL is here by then, I wouldn't take it.
