I don't mind the red stripes on the grill or hood, it is the stripes on the roof that I am not crazy about.

Plus the photos don't show an angle to see whether or not there are stripes on the top of the trunk.

I want to like it. I know it is more than capable, it just does not feel as special as others have.


All they needed to do is add real hood heat extractors, delete the stripes and put a real spoiler on the back.

I hate the stripes. Still, not as bad as what the 23' M4 stripes look like.

Fitting is not an issue, it's the same light shape wise….but the big question is indeed what they will cost.
If BMW goes the same strategy as with the GTS rears, we're talking around 6-7k

Actually, those red stripes work on Black & White IMO, they don't look good at all on Silver.

Guess it depends what your needs are, they seem to fair pretty well at the track and I heard they cost almost 50% of an M in consumables to run.

But can you actually walk in Porsche dealer and buy a GT3 ?

I know a lot of ppl who would buy one tomorrow at MSRP but they just can't..

Def all black. No strips. Stealth wrap. Perfect. If you can leave the hood and trunk full carbon that might be nice. Instead of painting the carbon just leave it unpainted carbon fiber.

yes, they are fine if its a track car only because who cares about the rest.

i don't see the m4csl as a track car though. I see it as a superformance gt40 type car. you can track it but why? these are "long and curvy way to the coffee shop or breakfast in the hill country, etc" cars that you just appreciate the experience, not turn a lap time.

I wish I had these beautiful close bye that you speak of, need to drive 6 hours to have some kind, that's why I do regular track days.

Switzerland is alright in that regard. Sizeable allocation per capita I reckon. But the CSLs are also all gone, at least the Swiss allocation.

I am about 1.5 hrs from Circuit of the Americas, my next track day is in September, but even if my CSL is here by then, I wouldn't take it.
