Tracking MY22 orders flipping to MY23

My MY22 M3C-X that had been in 112 and got back kicked back to 105 at the end of May has just switched over on "My Garage" to a MY23 in 112 status and with an identical production number this morning! My CA confirmed any changes with my yesterday and we finally have progress! Now to wait patiently for Monday when I can call genius to try and found out a build week!

Call them today, I just spoke with them. I'm week 28.

I'm still a '22 in my garage, maybe by later today it will be updated. I'll keep checking!

Make sure you guys update your options lists with your CA to make sure the items that split out are included!!!

I flipped into a 2023 in my garage, build week 29. Hoping for the best and good luck everyone!

Considering I was given someone else's production slot, the car looks like nothing like my build! Will have to wait to talk to CA to make sure everything is a go.

Can confirm same experience as others - 22 changed to 23 and production set. I’ll call BMW to see if I can get a BW.

UPDATE: BW 27 per genius, week of July 3, to start production.

Flipped from 105 to 112 this morning scheduled for build week 28.

Let's see if it holds up im not gonna be convinced till I have my VIN.

Price increased, between the msrp and the carbon buckets mine was a 4K+ increase - Im just happy to have one scheduled after a year of allocation searching and getting booted back to 105

Flipped this morning. Updated my build. Dropped carbon exterior and added carbon bucket. Now back to 111…

Yeah I'm week 28 but I'm doing a complete swap or exterior and interior and changing a few options. I'm sure mine will change :/

My dealer gave me price protection and is honoring my original MY22 price for all the delays. Not all dealers will do this just depends on your relationship with them

This is interesting. I have not spoken with my CA about this so I am assuming he is not doing the same but I will ask him about it once I get closer to delivery.

Maybe we should make a thread tracking the amount of dealers honoring 2022 price for the delay.

My CA advised me that there was a "price protection" for 2022 production numbers that got bumped to 2023 , BMW Financial is also honoring the rate that was available when you got issued your allocation although that's being done on a case to case basis.

My original production number, originally week 5, has flipped on its own to a 2023 and is scheduled for production. However, my CA had told me that I would be receiving a new production number and would need to wait until they received a 2023 allocation (this never sounded right to me but what do I know).

I had changed my exterior and interior colors on the new order I had given him. My original production number is still showing my original colors. I'm afraid to update anything at this point because I don't want to disturb the process but I'd much rather have Portimao Blue over BSM now. This whole thing is full of misinformation/communication and I really can't wait for it to be over.
