Tracking the K-Line Brooklands

Some ships already have their own dedicated threads, but I couldn't find one for the Brooklands. I titled this one generically (i.e. not tied to a specific sailing) so that it can be reused by future port-weary G8x customers.

As of this writing, the ship is currently moored at the port of Zeebrugge, Belgium, so potentially picking up some additional cars that BMW has relied on recently for overflow lots.

If anyone's got any interesting updates or questions on this voyage, this seems like a good place to do so.

Really thinking/hoping I'm on this boat, I went to 'In Transit' the same time as several others on Wednesday morning. I text my CA and haven't heard back yet, guess I should call Genius... I'm doing PCD as well, regardless, getting closer!

Just heard from CA, I'm on Brooklands!

They requested possible PCD dates, I gave him July 19, 20, 21, let's see what happens next!

That's very forward thinking of your CA. But generally, they'll inform you what possible dates they have available. I'm guessing not before August...

On another note, we have seen vehicles be tagged with a Stop Sale once they arrive at the VPC. Not to cause undue concern, but something to be aware of if you happen to see that notification placed on the vehicle once it arrives there.

Yes. Previously, I had heard that stop sales are usually set on a car once it leaves the factory, so I have a hard time understanding why they'd suddenly appear weeks/months later once it arrives at VPC. But I guess it happens.

My i4 M50 is also on the Brooklands heading to Charleston for Spartanburg delivery. Almost had a heart attack this morning when I saw that a fire boat was next to the Brooklands just before she left but it was a false alarm. Now we heading to Southhampton, UK.

I did some digging… from what I read, this link should be able to track it across Atlantic for free. Updates every hour or so…. IDK but worth a shot.
