I really disliked the 992 interior as well. The piano black glass and not being able to see the gauges was a huge let down. The stupid home link integration was dumb too. I dont miss the two I had at all.

Have you driven a 992 turbo or turbo-S ? If not, you really should. Porsche have moved the sportiness of the turbo quite a few notches up with the 992. I've test driven a 997 and 991.2 turbo and turbo-S, and while blistering fast, I found them a bit too cushy and disconnected for my taste. The 992 TT/TT-S, especially when fitted with the lowered Sport-PASM suspension (that was developed by the GT division) and the Sport exhaust, feels much more raw. It is actually more stiffly sprung than the Carrera-S and feels more connected to the road while offering a very decent aural experience (as opposed the the vacuum cleaner sound of the previous gens).

The tail lights are one of my favorite aspects of this car……especially in Exclusive Design guise.

Agreed, I would never pay over MSRP for any car. We're lucky where Ilive, selling above MSRP is illegal. I paid 170k USD for my decently well appointed (16k USD in options) 992TT last year. What bothers you about the interior? I find mine quite appealing.
I do too! The 992's wide body, improved interior and rear end/tail light was a game changer for me.

Well tbh I'm far less concerned with my little silly issues over Porsche's 992 design as I am with the BMW m3/4 front grille. It was time for a new car so got the M8 but ended up disliking it and getting rid of it in less than a year of ownership. I'm far more likely to pick up a 992-something before any new BMW coupe.

The grilles are definitely more polarizing than 992 tail lights or traditional gauge design where certain portions disappear behind the steering wheel (….something that doesn't bother me when I drive the car).

I kinda wish I had a late/current model X5 and a 992 GT3 in the garage. I drove my 992 a few days ago and thought to myself, "She has a phenomenal ass!!!!"

The problem with ED taillights on the turbos is that the center brake light integrated in the rear spoiler remains red, which kinds of defeats the whole point of the ED tails .

It's the same issue with the AeroKit wing. I may end up painting the third brake light of the AeroKit wing and keeping the clear upper third brake light instead.

This is true. The dichotomy of the 991 turbo/turbo S is that not only is it a better GT car, but it also has way more GT3 in it than the 991.2. It truly is the best dual purpose street/track car...and on track with proper tires it's very hard to touch.
