Yeah, 399 is not this, but another ultra rare color (with a bit of an infamous story behind it) and is what I'm going to build out mine with.

Almost any BMW blue is always a good choice, congrats!

Reminds me of the Atlantic Blue vs Atlantis Blue BMW E9X M3 controversy.
Ordered one color and got the other.

No purple. Under low/indirect light (or cloudy skies), it has a deep blue tone w/ some Violet hue to it.

Purely based on internet pictures, I would say closer to Porsche "Golf" blue (not to be confused w/ "Gulf" blue).
