I heard officially today I'm a '23 — first in line.
there's no production in July
maybe I'll get an allocation for August production.
I have option for the SE in Lime Rock Gray with CCBs.
Or maybe I'll get lucky for custom order G80MT….

It's highly unlikely that they shut down the line for the whole of July for a MY change. There have been reports in other threads that dealers might be getting July allocations by end of this week.

Considering there's a BW26 and then BW31, maybe they are shutting down for four weeks (though that does seem excessive for just an LCI).

I spoke to several different CAs and they mentioned BMW typically front loads allocations with new MYs, meaning more allocations in the first few months. I don't know how true that is, maybe a glass half full approach, but any weight to that statement?

None of the reports in BW31 is from NA, so they might not have opened the entire slots.

I see people who have been given an M4 allocation but are still waiting. Some have waited so long that it is possible they might have a 23' instead of a 22' M3 people have waited longer.

Early April I put in to be placed on the list for an M4 allocation.

May 26th 2022: Allocation Received
May 27th 2022: VIR Issued 111
May 29th 2022: 112 Scheduled for Production
June 7th, 2022: 150 Production begins
