Growing up in the 70s and 80s I became an absolute BMW fanboy. My dad used to own several BMW back in the day: 2002, E12, E28, E30 and E46.
My second car was a 1986 E30 in grey metallic with BBS wheels followed by E83, E85, E89 and E90 and a Mini Cooper S.

The M3 will be the successor to my 2020 Tesla Model 3 Performance.

After taking delivery today I will head down to the Austrian Alps for a few days.
Thank you for getting a manual! I picked mine up in Wurzburg. They gave me a hotel and everything. Glad you got that experience. Did you choose to have the regular badges instead of the 50ty anniversary?

Sounds like a good package and that you had a great experience, too. I have bought an E90 a decade ago at the Bavarian/Rhein dealership in Würzburg. Thank you, the manual was the main reason why I have ordered the M3. When I ordered the car back in November 2021 the 50th Anniversary badges were not available. I think the normal badges will suit better with the sapphire black color.
As a reference
That's my spec plus carbon package
I am still not a fan. I will swap those to carbon badges from IND. I may keep the wheels ones. I like those.

Congrats OP!

I’ve done 6 Euro Deliveries, the first two in the old shabby delivery center, and enjoyed every single one of them. We have crisscrossed the continent on those occasions and they’ve all created lasting memories.

I’m thinking of starting an online petition for BMWNA to reinstate the program.

There's a bit of an email campaign going on in the other site's European Delivery forum. Doubt I can link to it here, but search BMW CCA Letter Writing...

I am sure the Mods here would support it, given that it is part of the enthusiast community. As a CCA member I am totally supporting it. I also did it for the Touring, albeit knowing that it will be a pipe dream…but you can dream?!

Speaking of dealership service. My company car is a Jeep and I'm at the Jeep dealer now waiting for service. I now appreciate how spoiled I am to have owned a BMW for the last two decades and using BMW service. I know my dealer is an above-average BMW dealer, but my experience at this Jeep dealer would keep me from ever buying a Jeep/Dodge, ect product no matter what.

Almost exactly as I remember it from almost 6 years back. May 2016 was when I placed the order for an European Delivery in August 2016.

The thing that wasn't there then was the enclosed turn table with overhead lighting where your car is staged in some photos. Not sure where that is in the building now.

The problem with ED was the additional wait to get your car after you've returned to the States.

Ahhh, HG plate. My wife was born there. My brand new ‘12 X5M was also stolen at the front of the old Krankenhouse many moons ago. I too, will get an M3 again for the name sake only lol. It will be a ‘23.
