A couple weeks ago I went from status 112 to 105. I contacted my dealer who advised I had moved to a 2023. Then, last week I went back to 112 with a build week of 26. My dealer was surprised because the person who "handles" these matters was told my car would not be completed as a 2022.

My guess is nobody can be sure of anything until the car is actually built…I could be wrong.

When did you get your allocation? I am week 25 but still at 111.

I received my allocation in January; was originally a week 11 build then moved to: 18 > no week [105] > 26.

Yeah, it's wild. Apparently, I moved from Week 26 to 20 but like you said... who really knows.

I think BMW at some point will need to communicate to the dealers what production orders they will be able to fulfill as MY23. So many variables still, they can take any production order from any week and start tomorrow. But I'm positive some of the orders will move to MY23 due to the demonstrated output. I'm still scheduled for production, last time I checked still for week 26.

I'm now in Week 26 as well. First 13, then 20, and now 26. My allocation is from January.
Hoping this one sticks, as I do want the car. It'll probably come just in time to put snow tires on, assuming I can get some.

I think it's because all new orders now are to be inline for MY22. Just took place in line for my buddy for an M4 and that's what you get in line for now.

So two weeks ago, my dealer said my car would possibly go into production in the next day or two. When the status didn't change, I called BMW Genius and they said it was pushed back to Week 20, which is this week.

Expected status to change to "production begins" but it didn't. Called again and now it's Week 22.

Anyone have a general sense of how many weeks before your build week you should see your vehicle move to production started?

I'm build week 26 as well and just wondering when it's reasonable to start looking for that status change.

yoooo!!! From Week 9 - 11 -- i dont even remember anymore -- 26 -- 22, I am now officially in production!!!!!

So I'm not sure what week i am anymore? Since it started today and I assume it'll go through next week and into 5/30, I figure I'm still Week 22?

Anyone else here change status??? Regardless, hope the rest of ya'll here start to see some changes soon.

A bunch of us OG week 9ers went to 150 this week. Production completion next week (week 21) ranges from 5/25-5/30

I was week 26, then changed to week 25. Then out of the blue got my VIN yesterday! It's is clear that this scheduling process is like the lottery.

Actually I think we have really similar spec. Same color combo, wheels and calipers
