My New Java Green G80 M3

I don't have the guts to pick this color but it's awesome. The way the light causes the paint to flop between hues is incredible.

So I have added the below lately, hope you like them as much as I do!

M Performance Wing
M Performance Carbon Breathers
Full Custom Exhaust with single mid pipe
Downpipes (catless)
ECU unlock and BM3 stage 2 tune
XHP Gearbox flash stage 3 (tomorrow)
Ceramic coating

A couple of draggy times done since going stage 2, the 1/4 mile can be improved as I backed off at the end, also the road was quite greasy and I didn't warm the tyres up.

Next mods in July are Port injection and Methanol injection! 🌶

well done. I think of all the "loud" colors, this is my fave. And I'm not a green kind of guy, but this one is ridiculously delicious.

I've seen some photos of this color that look very green, and then others that look very washed out / yellow. Can anyone comment on what is more accurate in person, both in direct sunlight and in shade?

I'd be very happy to get something like the first picture but I really don't like the second or third ones

Closer to the first, but not quite that bright. Definitely not as dull as the 2nd two. I have a few pics as I just looked at one Monday, two of the pics were in the rain and the pics look fairly accurate to me.

whats interesting is that when I uploaded these attachments, the compression or something has changed the color and made them look duller. I’m looking side by side at this forum with the photo on my ipad, and the ipad photo looks noticeably better.

It’s a gorgeous color in person. Thats all I can say. I was debating it over IOMG, but I think I’m sticking with IOMG, mainly because I like them both and I’ve optioned this car up enough.

Individual configurator has this in frozen (frozen Tampa bay green).

Pretty impressive non-frozen and frozen.

So I have ordered the new G87 to go alongside the G80, I ordered it a couple weeks back and finally got to have a drive of it and I’m very impressed! I have now changed to BSM instead of the blue though..

Oh I have also added the yellow DRLs too…I think it goes very well with the colour!

If allocation patterns hold, I should be driving it before the end of the calendar year! In the meantime I’m collecting parts for it. Just finishing up an order for some Champagne LT3s from Edelweiss.

I dig it. It is one of my BMW favorite colors to look at but not own. I cant see you being disappointed

In all seriousness it’s a F’en bold color. I felt like after black, white, grey, and silver BMW ownership I needed something that wasn’t an appliance color. Hopefully I didn’t regret the decision 😂
