Thought it'd be a good idea to start a thread for people whose cars are already at Bremerhaven port in Germany, and tracking their journey from there to the dealership (vessel, VPC, truck, etc.)

Past production, we have more in common than others with our same production week. Vessels from Bremerhaven to Galveston are different than those going to either East Coast or West Coast. Also, our VPC and trucking situation is specific to Galveston as well.

I know there's already a thread for Galveston stop sales. Hopefully this thread will be broader for all people with Galveston as their port of entry (regardless of their situation or production week).

Let's get started with the near term vessel trips from Bremerhaven to Galveston.

EDIT: Schedules updated March 1, 2022.

Please note that "K" Line seems to be the only company shipping BMWs from Bremerhaven (Germany) to Galveston (information based solely on reading posts in this forum).

Was in Bremerhaven for about 2 weeks.
On the Victoria Highway. End destination is Houston.

On order: Brooklyn grey G80 6MT with Tartufo interior.

I looked at all the vessels from Bremerhaven to Galveston, and there was only one other trip between the time your car reached port and Victoria Highway’s departure. That other vessel (Arc Integrity) would have delivered your car at a later date than Victoria. Seems they have some method to the madness. Gives me hope that they might be thinking things through (at least in some cases).

I have a G80 Comp that was stuck in QC purgatory since mid-November that has been at port for the past week or so.

Hopefully she gets a boat ride to TX with y'all relatively soon.

Final destination: Austin.

I'll be picking the car up from Grapevine but live in Houston.

My car got to Bremerhaven port yesterday (Feb 2). I’m hoping to get on the next trip leaving on Feb 5. I know that’s a long shot after reading everything going on around, but I keep my hopes up. Everything has been pretty smooth with my build so far. Here’s my timeline up until now:

10/09/2021 Order placed at dealership.
01/01/2022 Scheduled for production (status code 112); production date set to 1/28.
01/14/2022 Production begins (status code 150).
01/21/2022 Production date changed from 1/28 to 1/27.
01/25/2022 Exterior body assembly begins (status code 151).
01/26/2022 In the paint booth (status code 152).
01/27/2022 Entering assembly line (status code 153).
01/27/2022 Assembly in progress (status code 154).
01/27/2022 Quality check (status code 155).
01/27/2022 Awaiting carrier assignment (status code 182).
01/28/2022 Dispatched from factory (status code 190).
02/02/2022 At the port (status code 193).

Morning Courier on its way to Germany (scheduled to arrive at 6:30am US Central time) and Patriot docked at Bremerhaven.

I am hoping to catch a ride on the Morning Courier. On 2/4 my status changed to Dispatched from Factory.
I live in Austin but picking up car from BMW of Temple. I am hoping to have the car by early March.

If your status just changed to “Dispatched from Factory” yesterday, it’ll take a few days for your car to get to the port in Germany. Usually around 5 days, but some have been as short as 2 days, while some others longer than 5 days. After you get to the port it’ll also be a few days in line before your car gets on a vessel. Some have gotten on a vessel very quickly, but others have had to wait a few weeks.

My guess is that your first opportunity will be the Patriot on Feb 11, arriving to Galveston Mar 6. That would make it possible to get your car around mid-March depending on the trucking situation at that time.
