You're gonna need a literal armory of brushes to keep our 826Ms optimally clean.. it's hard work but this is the life we chose! I'm actually considering getting mine powdercoated bronze or pale gold. I was a Subaru guy in a past life and I can't help but wonder how the blue on gold esthetic would be on my M3.
I seriously didn't expect that. I've only had my car for 10 days and the wheels "power coated" themselves Any recommendation on specific wheel cleaners? but frankly blue on gold looks good to me too.

If you keep up with them regularly (or semi-regularly) Adams Wheel and Tire Cleaner is good. I have a dedicated foam cannon I use it in and it works great following the Obsessed Garage method.

As long as you have the brushes to reach everywhere needed, regular car wash foam is fine for maintenance washes. If you have real caked on brake dust IronX is the real deal.

Nah, I’m not a big fan of all the things carbon. If anything I would switch them out for gloss black. The car is so low in the front now, I’d be scared I’d suck up small children and animals with open air inlets.

As long as it's not a honeycomb… 👌

Nooo do not do gloss black! It's an absolute swirl magnet no matter how careful you are, and the front ducts are a high traffic cleaning area. I have the CF exterior pack but I'm thinking of getting the shadowline trim portions along the doors and the bumpers wrapped black again then PPF'd. I've already polished the door portions once and I took delivery in May.

I got my Portimao xdrive m3 from PCD two days ago, delivered home today. What a STUNNING color. I'm surprised its not individual, its that good.

Classy dark blue with a hint of purple. I'm taking it in for PPF and the works, will post pics after!

I have the black wheels on my order list. But, I do plan on a aftermarket wheel later on. Lately ive been getting dark gray wheels (titanium gray). I went that route on my silver Ram, and I am PCing my black TE37s nardo gray for my red NSX. Im a little tired of black as well. But the darker shades of colors looks great on most of the G80 lineups.

It’s why I went with the wheels that I did. Sometimes I think they might be a little too bright but then I drive the car and then they’re covered in brake dust so they darken up.

In all seriousness, since I always end up with aftermarket wheels, I should have saved my money when I bought the car and just got the stock 18/19 setup.
