You're correct. It is part of the Executive Package. To my knowledge only thing missing is gesture control, and drive recorder is it's own $100 option. Everything else option wise is the same.

Correct on the 2023's it's a $100 option , just noting that if you have a 2022 order with the Parking assist package they will NOT automatically add the drive recorder on for your 2023 looks like you have to ask and have it added a la carte.

I thought they would have automatically included since I'd previously had it selected.

So, I can confirm that those in status 105 with a MY22 were automatically swapped for a 2023. I had a 2022 production number that just became 2023 on it's own and shows as scheduled for production.

Mine still shows as a 22 ...I'm wonder if this is specific to your dealer earning an allocation(s).

Anyone spoken to their dealer about their order switching? If so, has anyone had success in making changes to color or options?

I spoke to my CA, and I'm not sure it a dealer thing? Since they are in the order bank, BMW most likely slotted the 105's for production since they had already accepted the order.

If I am wrong, I should be corrected...

I was looking for a CT4-V blackwing because on paper it seems the closest to the M3, but I've seen reviews that said it was underwhelming. Just trying to keep my options open. When I got there, it turned out what they had was a CT5-V Blackwing that they wouldnt let me test drive. They told me I could test drive a black MT they have coming next week but only if I put down a $1k deposit, and it still has a markup, though less than the $50k markup on the CT5-V Blackwing.

I've seen a lot of people getting there MY22 orders converted to MY23 already, but of course mine is still sitting at MY22 and 105...

I couldn't agree more, I haven't heard this specifically yet at my dealer, but I'd be seriously pissed if I learn of this. Just more poor customer service from BMW as far as I'm concerned. I love the brand, but they do not have their act together when it comes to ordering cars right now🤬

Although I agree in theory, we just don't know how these last remaining MY2022 G8x vehicles were spec'ed.

It's possible there were scheduling/availability issues with some of the individual paints for instance. What's BMW supposed to do in that case, delay the assembly line for all MY2023 vehicles?

Well… I have no idea how this happened but my dealer tells me they have secured a July allocation for my G80C. The MY22 order I placed last November was canceled in May, I reconfigured a MY23 order a few weeks ago, which did not have an allocation. But, somehow they found a way. Apparently the build will be late July. I have no idea what to expect for a delivery date. I'm in Canada, anyone have insight into how long a car which gets finished early August would get to our side of the pond?

Where in Canada are you buying from? IIRC BC is about 8 weeks from factory to pick up
