We all know how a properly driven Turbo S 992 can launch but I do think Mat out launched Juan here.

Admirable showing by the S58 in all regards with a basic ecu tune.

Im gonna take out my G80X right now and reward it with a few violent launches!!!

Impressive with just an ECU tune. Put up a great fight against the Turbo S.

This result is pretty astonishing if you really think about it. The TT/S is, and always has been, a monster - especially over the quarter mile.

I actually would not be surprised if the bmw is 600 to the wheels or very close. BMW states 503 hp and 3.4 sec 0-60 on the Xdrive. However, the car on a dyno stock has done 515, 496, 510 over three runs.

If you check out Kies Motorsports videos he uses a dahler tune to 600 hp and gets 610 or so to the wheels. BMW under promised and over delivered. It's impressive. This is why I think it almost keeps up with the 911.

Also, stock xdrive 0-60 people are getting right around 3.0-3.1 sec.

Hopefully these are correct, only will find out once my m3 comes in

I definitely wouldn't be surprised. A few bolt-ons and it would be even closer. I've also seen the 911 HUL Porsche, run a 10.1 on their show.

That is true. And wow, these cars now a days are getting more and more impressive other than every manufacturer decreasing cylinders and adding turbos to everything

100%. Cars in the 10s from the factory. Some in the 9s.

Standard car (nearly) beat by tuned car shocker.

First stage tune of 992 is around 730 bhp and 930nm.... I'll get my coat now.

However I'd still have a M3 xdrive - in the right colour/spec, it looks and feels premium - and the testicle holding carbon seats are sublime.

The M3 probably makes as much if not more at the wheels than the turbo S does stock to the wheels - I agree. Given the M3 Comps make 500+ wheel hp from the factory I doubt it's 600 crank.

A month before yours, but then my car sat at the port of Emden for a month. At least using your VIN number I was able to get answers from my dealership/PCNA.

I also believe you're weight figures are slightly off. A 992 turbo S weights ~3650 lbs. An M3 xdrive is ~3920 so ~270 lbs vs the 375.
