I got the straight cut chrome. I figure it'll actually match the silver M3 badging on the back as well as the brushed finish on the ANRKY wheels I've got coming in. What made me go for them even more was the fact that I really don't like Remus' new logo. I love their old one but alas, they probably wouldn't make CF tips for me with the old one if I asked.

The race will be available in late January, sport has a longer wait time.

If you wish to get one, I recommend pre-ordering as qty left is very limited.

January 23rd is the earliest anyone can get these exhausts. I have 2 exhausts lefts on that shipment. After that its going to be 4-6 more weeks of wait.

So my local retailer here in the UK has just informed me that the Remus systems have been shipped from Austria and should arrive in the next few days. Finally some good news. Cant wait to see how good they will sound combined with the valvetronic midpipe.

It would really be nice if there were more sound clips of this exhaust other than a little inside driving sound clip from Shmee and the dyno clip. Would love to here an actual outside clip. Surprised the company hasn't put anything more out or maybe I'm just blind and havn't found any?

On the other side it did sound pretty good from inside Shmee's car but did seem like there was a good rasp to it. I like it but as it sounded a little like the F80 MPE exhaust to me but it's hard to be sure. Also since we won't get the full kit like he had unless we put our own midpipe on it'd be nice to get a clip without removing secondary cats and see how much it tames it down.

There are a lot of choices right now and tough to make a decision based on a lot of variables.

Unfortunately there aren't much sound clips other than what you have already heard. There are videos online for the X3M with the Remus exhaust, it shares the same engine as the G8x platform. Not sure if those exhaust are identical though.

I've heard the blue M3 on the dyno has the secondary cats on. I'm guessing it's true since it's much quieter than Shmee's.

Once I get my exhaust I'll be making videos with and without the secondary cats. Hope that will help.

Yeah the dyno M3 does seem quite a bit tamer so that would make sense but honestly sometimes I don't like the dyno examples of sound. Not real world enough for me.

Hopefully you'll get yours soon as I've been following all of the exhaust threads and sounds like Remus will be sending out there's soon.
