yeah the cost of the tips are crazy. almost half the cost of the axle back.

I'm going for the straight cut tips. I like the finish over the other one. I'm not sure how many people are going for their CF tips, but I would've loved them.

I was going to go with the straight cut pipes but they are 98mm compared to the other tips which are 102mm (same size as stock). I didn't want them looking small. Just keep that in mind.

Want to eventually get an exhaust but don't know of any reputable shops in the area as I've never done an exhaust on my BMWs before.

I do not unfortunately but this install can be done by any mechanic. No need for a BMW shop.

Mike has successfully robbed me of money in exchange for a Remus race! I'm very excited. Was a bit iffy on the chrome tips, but I'll live.

I think I may have the rowdiest setup when it's all installed. I'm hoping it can mimic my old F80 where when the valves are closed, it's still very tame and civilised.

MAD catless downpipes -> AA single midpipe -> Remus race axle back with no resonators will be very fun. First I have to get the car, then do 1200 miles, then somehow find time to install everything without my wife going nuts from taking care of a fussy baby all day.

If you got the axle back, it comes in two sections so maybe its the fore part of the rear set up.

but i heard Remus was backed up like constipation.

It'll be a Christmas miracle if it shipped out, or part of it. I placed my order back in October and being told new date is end of January. Bet Shmee is laughing at all of us while riding around in his M3 with the full Remus kit.

I did get the same tracking number from x-ph as well and I've bought nothing else from them. Package will be here on the 29th and is moving through the UPS network.
