Yes, I am. I called yesterday and learned ETA went from 9/29 to 9/30.

Mine is status 193, at the Bremerhaven port in DE as of yesterday

I was originally scheduled for Week 40 (and depending on interpretation, maybe still am).

My G82 order moved to Status 150 September 16, with completion estimated for October 4. Even though the system hasn’t updated the production status since then, on either the MyBMW website or the application Genius agents use, today’s agent observed the VIN has been scanned thrice so far. He interprets that means it’s probably in the paint shop or (best case) just beginning assembly.

Hope that insight helps those of you in the same conundrum…

I have never heard of the VIN scanning. Interesting!

I don't understand the scheduling at all. Mine went into 150 the day after yours but is currently estimated for the 30th.

Recalling (vaguely) from several Spartanburg plant tours from years past, the bar code representing the VIN is scanned throughout the production process to determine paint color, options, upholstery, etc. (anything that’s variable from one vehicle to the next).

IDK where to even post anymore. Was week 39 and ended up starting in 38. First estimated date of completion was 9/29, then the 30th. Jumped from production begins Thursday afternoon, to paint booth in the middle of the night into Friday.

That is interesting.. so essentially if your salesman didn't update you and you were relying on the tracker online you wouldn't have known your car was moving along...

I am in state 112 and week 39 and I do not have vin, some more in this situation

Well, if I helps I decided to keep updating in this thread since I was originally given a Week 39 production date. I think it is useful for people to be able to see how things vary based on that, even if the variability is relation to supply chain disruption and isn't useful for when things get back to some semblance of stability. I think of this as a bit of a historical archive of our experiences.

Anyone know how to track from Bremerhaven to west coast (Canada)?

Called Genuis this morning. My build is still at "Production Begins", and still has an estimated completion date of 9/30 (3 days).

The Genius did say it was likely further along in production than the status indicated, but it seemed more like a feeling than any sort of actual knowledge. I inquired about the VIN scanning and he seemed unaware of how to check.

I haven't called into the Genius line in a couple of weeks now. I'm assuming I'm still on track for the completion this week but I'm sure it could hit a snag at sometime as well.

Finally went into production so moving to this thread. Lots of confusion. Started as week 35, then week 38, then week 39, yesterday CA told me I was moved to week 40, and as of this morning (finally) have a VIN. Build below:

Will do! I was wavering between the blue and KO interior but took a chance. I figured the blue calipers looked nice against the car

So your scenario is very telling. You jumped all the way from prod begins to exterior assembly begins. Do you check the site daily?
