My car is now in transit to the dealer! Left Greer yesterday around 6pm. Dealer ETA is Thursday. Tomorrow is my birthday so I’m counting it

Happy birthday to you! At long last, you'll have your car. Given our cars shared journeys from Bremerhaven to Greer, I can't imagine having to wait the extra month you did to get yours! (Then again, other forum members lived or are living their own nightmares of prolonged waiting ...)

I hope you're taking tomorrow off from work and able to camp out at the dealership to await its arrival. (Your CA should have some advance word on exact ETA of the truck.). It's exciting to watch it pull up and get unloaded. By chance I had that experience ~20 years ago with an E46 M3.

Thanks!

And what a birthday it was because… it arrived today and I picked it up this evening! Not much chance to drive it yet as my daughter is sick, but I’ll post an update soon.

Thanks! I know I took a risk, but this car is for me. I went with a design theme and I think it definitely works

Congrats on finally getting the car in your hands.

Hey all. Sorry I have been MIA. Both my girls got sick and then were kind enough to share it with me.

I have gotten to drive very little after putting on the snow tires, but this is a beast! Lots of grip and a ton of fun to drive. Also very composed in the boring settings. Great combo of luxury when you want it and sport when you want it.

The BAD news is yesterday, with ~450 miles on it, I was rear ended at a stop light. Young woman didn’t even appear to slow down. Argh. We’ll see what the damages are.

Ugh. That's shite all around. Hope you and your girls are feeling better, and the damage to your car is negligible... and insurance leaves you with a good result and no out-of-pocket
