Saw this at local dealer… it’s an $8000 add on…
They let me fire it up and listen to it rev. I did not drive it. I thought it sound a little deeper than a stock exhaust but I couldn’t say I thought it was worth that much… it’s unique looking … thoughts?

Personally, I have a preference for the original quad look. The value of a product is subjective, and if you prioritize having a slightly lighter weight and a unique appearance, then perhaps it is worth it for you. However, if the performance benefits are not significant enough to justify the cost, then my recommendation would be a hard no.

I honestly do not like the look of it, makes the rear look weird imo. Much prefer the stock look.
About sound and weight, there are a lot of options out there that let you custom those to your taste, at a fraction of the price. |

Not worth it; if an aftermarket company offered the part, most would laugh at the design and price.
Most people would not be fans of the sound either, but since it's a BMW part, it gets a pass, I guess.

You're basically paying for the look (which I personally don't like). The sound difference is negligible. Very much not worth it.

Don't like the looks at all. Plus, have never been interested in a valved system with a muffler. That's why I bought the AWE Track. Reminds me of the B&B Bullets resonator only systems I had on my '06 and '13 Vettes. I was waiting for a system like that to come along.

I would rather pay $8k for my car to NOT have the atrocity hanging off the back!
I've heard its essentially indistinguishable from the standard exhaust system as far as tone/volume. An M3 at my buddy's PPF shop had one recently. The owner said he was disappointed. |

That exhaust being in the middle and in that orientation really throws off the balance of the lower valence of the car. From a design standpoint its pretty awful. The stock Quad exhaust on the other hand makes the rear look a lot more balanced and planted.

I miss mine dearly. Being worth it, that's up to you. You can find it for less than $8k. Pretty easy DIY.
The cool thing about this exhaust, is how it sounds at start up and different RPM ranges (titanium). After some miles, and break in, it'll get louder. It's a fine piece of work. It's not boomy or loud like some of the ebay crap out there, but a very cool refined noise. I will say this; the rear looks much wider with the factory setup. MPE can play tricks on your eyes. |

It was all about Mperformance parts from day 1 with bmw...
Now seeing this atrocity design (same with side skirts and rear skirts) and sound is pretty much similar... Buying a M3 is all about the design... including the quad exhaust we are used to. Now it doesn't even look BMW with such design.

Funny how it’s on “new money white.”
For the same cost that’ll create more drool id look at akrapovic. That’s old money classy that you’ll find on individual colors. Lol |
