Wondering if anyone in here has already received/taken delivery of their 2023 M3? Hoping to have my M3C IOMG over Tartufo here by the end of August.

It was originally a 2022, got flipped to a 2023. Only issue was that it defaulted to dealership delivery for the 2023. For the 2022 order I had selected Spartanburg PCD as the dealer is over 1000 miles away...

Mines is at the Baltimore VDC now and will be delivered to the dealer early next week, So next week quite a few of us BW27 folks will have their MY23 cars

Congratulations! Be sure to post pictures when it gets in! I have an order in for IOMG over tartufo, and cant find any pictures of that interior color with the LCI interior online.

Will do! I didn't get the carbon bucket seats, kinda regretting it with all the posts on how amazing they are, but I'll be ok 😂. My wife will appreciate the comfortable standard seats.

My local dealer has 4 '23 G80s in transit so they should hit pretty soon. (Why one of those isn't mine when I've been 1st on their list since April is beyond me... but thats another story...).

You ever inquired as to why that is? Obviously something off there...

Hopefully you get yours soon! I've been on the list since May and I'm number 14 on their list.

It's the typical runaround... "oh they were 22 orders that got converted to 23"... or "we had some delays but your allocation should be coming up very soon". I'm suspecting they're selling allocations. So those of us paying MSRP are being cut in line. They'll never admit that however.

I texted my CA today letting him know that I'm expecting an allocation very soon considering there's 4 '23 G80s en route.

Bill Jacobs is a high volume dealer so hopefully you see some progress with your place in line.

I'm #1 at Westmont and #4 at Barrington. But I've been on these lists since February.

I hope so, but time will tell. I stayed away from Westmont. My family has had bad experiences with them. (Nothing nefarious, but just poor customer service.) Hope that that come through for you soon!

Got it.. best of luck, hope they get your allocation soon! You ever try calling under another name to confirm if they're selling allocations and cutting in front of existing deposits?

Sorry no, my MY23 is expect to come in September. My story is works exactly the same as yours, I ordered last November. In June they flipped my order to MY23, it was built July 25, I'm trying to figure out how to track it on a ship right now.

I bought my wife the X3 M40i from Westmont earlier this year and they were pretty good to us. But once I inquired about the M3, they wanted 15K over MSRP. I told them to take a hike and then came back with, we can do $5K over MSRP a few days later. They said 6 month wait time back in late June.

Given that, I do agree that they are cutting folks in line for MSRP. Anyways, I am more than happy to be #15 at Bill Jacobs and don't mind waiting a few months more rather than paying over.

If you call the BMW Genius hotline 1.844.4GENIUS (443-6487) with your production number/VIN they can tell you what ship its on and current status.

I haven't.... not sure what good will come out of it. I've already confronted them about it and they deny that they do anything of the sort (of course).

Seems a lot of dealers in Chicagoland are doing the same for M3 allocations. And the ones that aren't have long waitlists and quoting 2 years out (i.e. Knauz). I'm running into a similar issue at the other dealer I have my deposit with - Motorwerks Barrington. Same story there - I was 4th in line back in March and am apparently still 4th in line because they "haven't gotten any allocations".

At the end of the day it's a 1st world problem. I have a 2020 m340i right now with only ~20k miles on it, so it's not like I'm hurting for a new car.

I have been stuck in quality check status for about two weeks now…took me like 7 months just to get an allocation. I ordered in December and production started the last week of July.

That's interesting... I wonder if there's a common issue happening across models. People over on the X5 and X7 forums are also having issues with being in QC for multiple weeks (and those are all built in SC)
