Sensor adjustment after lowering?
Question, if you lowered your car, no matter with springs only or complete coilovers. Did you get any sensors, cameras, radar or lights calibrated afterwards? This is mentioned with the KW V3‘s e.g. Or do those systems level themselves as the car anyhow changes height during bumpy rides or when fully loaded?

As far as other sensors no other calibration is needed, at least it wasn’t for me. They may say that for some liability reasoning. I’ve had my windshield replaced 3 times this year and Safelite makes you (insurance company) pay for the “camera calibration” service for $299. If you pay out of pocket do not opt for this service!!!! I went with the tech and he hooked up his fancy machine to OBD port to calibrate the system but he said BMWs calibrate themselves and very quickly. We drove down the block and back and it was done. He said he spends 45+mins for other cars and said dodge and jeeps are the worst. |
