So, the law says you are to have a front plate on the vehicle. I run my g80 without one, and I’m a cop. 😬 here’s the deal. Most officers will not stop you for not having a front plate unless they are looking for something else… example, it’s 2am and they are looking for drunks, gives them a legal reason to stop you and investigate that aspect. If you are sober you’ll most likely get a warning and on to the next. If you are drunk, we’ll, you shouldn’t be driving, will be arrested, and will get a citation for the no front plate as justification for the stop. Of that makes sense. At the end of the day, don’t drive drunk lol. Hope this makes sense. |

I went with the rho-plate v2 and haven't had any issues with sensors at all, just a few days so far but really happy.

Hey!
I had similar stories with my 2020M4. Police no single word. But in Denver parking ticketing conponies are having contracts signed that they can give you such a ticket. I think it was $50 or $75 dollar. I started to argue with the guy in still polite way but he admitted that they are forced to do it and he just wrote ticker and cannot pull it back. I did then installed this front license plate but did not like to so much, as it was from time to time making problems with sensors. Right now, I have second license plate in a car and when I do park in down town, I will pull the plate on the front windshield and will see what they will do So far comparing to EU I see police in Colorado probably the most understandable to the drivers of fast cars I had ever opportunity to weatness. Always polite, always can talk a little bit about the car, and ending up with warning in 95% of cases. Hope it will continue. License missing, dark windows, car mods, all is ok unless you behave withing some limits. This is why Im not moving to Cali !!!! BTW: my neibhour Police guy has Hellcat |
