This looks like you took your personal car on a BMW track? I wish they did that at BMW Performance Center West, which is the closest BMW track to me. You can only use their track if you are taking a class, and you use their cars, not your own.

Also, are those Titan7 wheels? How do you like the square setup on the X-Drive?

Korea's driving center operates Owners Track Day. Twice a month, three sessions are open. It uses a 19" wheel from the apex and uses the 275/35/19 xdrive square setting. In my experience, the rear tire should be wider. I use the current setting for financial reasons of tires.

That's great. I'm jealous. I wish BMW here in USA did something like that as often.

I wonder if 285 square will fit in front?

Are those APEX VS-5RS? They look great!

285 will fit. I'm running them here on the same wheels. 15mm spacers that I was running with the OEM wheels were still on but have been removed.

Interference may occur at maximum stroke.

Visit the apex racing parts site for recommendations on tire size!

My 275/35/19's require fender vent trimming when lowered on 15mm spacers. Did you simply have to cut a bit more to fit the 285's?

This looks fantastic too btw. What are your wheel and tire specs?

Thanks! Really happy with how everything came together.

I had to trim the fenders on OEMs and the 15mm spacers too. With the 285s/35/19s (square) I had rubbing in the fronts even with the fin trimming but only with turning the wheel right while reversing. Rears would rub upon moderate spring compression (MSS v2). I just wanted to see how they looked and eventually took them off. It did look pretty damn mean though! Currently had 10mm spacers in the rear now with no rubbing thus far.

Tires are 285/35/19 Bridgestone RE-71RS square. Wheels are Apex 19X10" ET12 VS-5RS in Satin Bronze.

Did your fronts ever touch the strut seats? I have the exact same wheels and tires for my track set up running AST springs and have noticed the tires rubbing on there sometimes.

Haven't noticed but I'll try and double check tomorrow. Under what conditions do they rub?

I can’t really re-create it and it seems to happen under different situations but the rubber marks are definitely there on both sides. Doesn’t happen on the track either. The RE-71RS are large for their size so I’m assuming that’s the problem.

Magny-Cours F1 track 2mm00.886 (not clean) A clean lap under in 2mm00.936.
There is potential to go in 1m58 easily.

Very nice lap at CMP. Run so many times there and that seems about max for our cars.
Race tires and full aero on a Boss 302s had me low 136s with slicks so anything under 142s is moving and up front almost every race

Sadly no usable video. The go pro I strapped to my head had horrible exposure issues.

The right corner is in a much better condition than the left as this is a clockwise circuit.
